Bentley-- a new release from Oklahoma State University was released in 2015. It topped the yield trials in 2016 in Oklahoma showing excellent yield and forage production. It recovers very well after grazing. It is medium late in reaching first hollow stem giving Bentley an extended time for grazing. Bentley has demonstrated excellent seed size, good straw strength, good acid soil tolerance and disease resistance ; so should be an excellent choice for western Oklahoma.
