Gallagher was released in 2012 and has been a top producer every year since. It provided outstanding forage production through out the year. It recovers well after grazing. Gallagher is adapted to all of Oklahoma and southern Kansas with good disease resistance especially stripe rust. It hollow stems early so cattle must be pulled earlier than some. It has good shattering resistance and winterhardimess . It is the most popular wheat grown in Oklahoma now.
